An Academic Scholar is a student who consistently excels in their studies and shows a strong dedication to learning. This is awarded to students who perform at the highest level, either in specific subjects or in overall academic achievement.

Guidelines for Enrolling for the Academic Scholar

An Academic Scholar is a student who consistently excels in their studies and shows a strong dedication to learning. This is awarded to students who perform at the highest level, either in specific subjects or in overall academic achievement.
 
A student who has received academic recognition, such as ranking 1st or 2nd in their graduating class during 6th and 10th grade, may be designated as an Academic Scholar. To verify this status, an official certificate of ranking, issued by the school principal, must be submitted to the Office of the Principal for validation.
 
Guidelines for Enrolling for the Academic Scholar:

1.    Eligibility:
o   The student must have completed 6th or 10th grade and meet the academic standards set by the school.

o   Students from any school, whether public or private, are eligible to apply if they meet the required grade ranking.

2.    Academic Performance:
o   The student must have ranked 1st or 2nd in their graduating class for 6th or 10th grade.

o   Only those who have maintained consistently high academic performance throughout the school year will be considered.

 

3.    Required Documents:
o   Official Certificate of Ranking: An official certificate from the school principal or relevant authority, indicating the student's academic ranking (1st or 2nd place).
o   Form 137 or Report Cards: A copy of the student’s official Form 137 or report cards from the relevant academic year(s) showing the student’s high performance in their studies.
o   Academic Scholar Form


4.    Application Process:
o   Students or their guardians must submit the required documents to the Office of the Principal for verification.
o   Fill-out the Application Form
o   Ensure that all documents are complete and submitted within the designated deadline set by the school.
o   Once all documents are verified and the eligibility criteria are confirmed, the student will officially be enrolled for the Academic Scholar.
5.    Document Verification:
o   The Office of the Principal will review and verify the submitted academic records.
o   If necessary, the school may request further documentation or clarification regarding the student's ranking or academic performance.

 
6.    Deadline for Submission:
o   All applications must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted unless otherwise stated by the school.


7.    Responsibilities of the Applicant:
o   Ensure that all submitted documents are accurate and up to date.
o   Maintain a positive academic and behavioral record throughout the school year to retain eligibility for the Academic Scholar.


8.    Additional Considerations:
o   Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria or fail to submit the required documents will not be considered for the Academic Scholar.
o   If any discrepancies or concerns are found regarding the documents or performance, the student’s application may be disqualified.
 
Student Ranked 1st in their Graduating Class
The student is entitled to a 100% tuition fee discount as a scholar for the entire school year.
 
To maintain the scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:
·   Qualifying Grade: The student must maintain the qualifying grade for each grading period.
·    Final General Average: The student must have a final general average of 96-99%.
 
Grading Period Requirements:
·        First Quarter: No grades lower than 88%.
·        Second Quarter: No grades lower than 89%.
·        Third Quarter: No grades lower than 90%.
·        Fourth Quarter: No grades lower than 92%.
 
Additionally, the student must maintain the qualifying grade in both academic and non-academic subjects and behavioral record throughout the school year.
 
Student Ranked 2nd in their Graduating Class
The student is entitled to a 50% tuition fee discount as a scholar for the entire school year.
 
To maintain the scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:
Qualifying Grade: The student must maintain the qualifying grade for each grading period.
Final General Average: The student must have a final general average of 94-95%.
 
Grading Period Requirements:
First Quarter: No grades lower than 88%.
Second Quarter: No grades lower than 89%.
Third Quarter: No grades lower than 90%.
Fourth Quarter: No grades lower than 92%.
 
Additionally, the student must maintain the qualifying grade in both academic and non-academic subjects and behavioral records throughout the school year.
